Nine Middlesbrough players are on international duty over the next week or so. Here is every Boro star involved and the fixtures they could feature in.
Currently sat seventh in the Championship heading into the international break, Middlesbrough fans can enter September with optimism.
Fresh from their 2-0 over Cardiff City, Michael Carrick will use the international period to analyse and reflect ahead of Boro’s return to action against Preston North End on September 14.
The Teesside boss however will hoping none of his first-team squad pick up any unwanted injuries during the break as many Middlesbrough stars jet off to play for their country.
