Eleven Middlesbrough stars have been called up to represent their countries during the international break.
It’s been a mixed start to the season for Michael Carrick’s men, who fell to a 2-1 defeat away to Watford in the final game before breaking up for the October internationals.
Boro will have representatives all across the world with Nations League, African Cup of Nations qualifiers, and World Cup qualifiers all taking place.
With that, let’s look at every Boro star spending the international break away from the Riverside Stadium.

Which Middlesbrough stars have been called up for international duty?
USMNT boss Mauricio Pochettino has called up Aidan Morris for his first friendlies against Panama and Mexico.
Morris has seven international caps to his name and now has the chance to build upon them under his new national team boss.
Riley McGree has been called up by Australia for their World Cup qualifiers against China and Japan. Sammy Silvera, currently on loan at Portsmouth, has also been named while Tom Glover is on standby.
Hayden Hackney will hope to feature for England U21s in games against Ukraine and Azerbaijan. Micah Hamilton is on standby for now.

Ben Doak, who has impressed in his first few weeks at the Riverside Stadium, has been named in Scotland’s senior squad. Finn Azaz has been called up to the Republic of Ireland squad for their Nations League fixtures.
Rav van den Berg is in the Netherlands’ U21 squad for a friendly with Mexico and a European Championship qualifier against Sweden.
Youngster Eric Hamelberg is in Portugal’s U18 squad too.
In terms of African representation, Seny Dieng has been called up for Senegal’s double-header against Malwai while Boro first-teamers Isaiah Jones and Anfernee Dijksteel could face each other after being called up to the Guyana and Suriname squads respectively.
