Middlesbrough in danger of losing Hayden Hackney
Hackney’s return to form is great news for Middlesbrough and their promotion hopes.
Another big test against Watford awaits them this weekend and the England U21 international will need to be at his best in order to help Boro secure a win over the Hornets.
However, there is now a real chance that a Premier League club once again start looking at Hackney ahead of January.
Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United scouted Hackney during the 2024 summer transfer window but they did not get a deal done.
But now the midfielder is once again firing on all cylinders, it would not be surprising to see another top team, or maybe one of the above duo, try and sign him in January or in the summer of 2025.
