Steve Gibson has backed Middlesbrough very well so far this summer.
Middlesbrough have had an excellent summer transfer window so far under Michael Carrick and Kieran Scott.
The Reds have so far, signed five new first-team players as they battle to secure a return to the Premier League.
Tommy Conway joined Middlesbrough last week, signing from Bristol City for £4.5m.
The striker made his debut in the 1-0 loss to Derby County but is expected to still be a key asset for the Teessiders this term.
While the incomings have been positive, one of the best things Boro have done this summer is keep hold of their top stars.
Middlesbrough have made their stance on Emmanuel Latte Lath clear amid interest from the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers and AS Monaco.
The centre-forward is not for sale this summer unless a fee in excess of £20m is offered up for him.

Steve Gibson has pulled off massive transfer for Middlesbrough
Keeping hold of all their key players and strengthening the majority of their eleven means Boro are on course for one of their best transfer windows in many years.
The Teessiders have not always been known for smart transfer business but since Steve Gibson appointed Scott as Head of Football, that has changed.
Now, speaking on the You Are My Boro podcast, BBC Tees pundit Mark Druary has outlined how impressive Middlesbrough’s swoop for Conway was.
Druary stated Boro got him ‘very cheap’ and likely for less than half his value had he had another year on his contract.
He said: “For Carrick he’s young he’s fit he’s quick he’s mobile he can score goals, create he can play up front but he can play anywhere along the forward line so he’s versatile he’s keen as well he wants to be here he was desperate to come here despites Boro not actually being the top bidders.
“He made it very clear to Bristol City I’m going to Middlesbrough so that’s why from Michael Carrick’s he ticks every box.
“And from the more business side of it, he’s young is cheap in relative terms. Just over £4 million for a 22-year-old international year for Scotland who all things being equal will only improve and therefore appreciate in value. They [Boro] reckon they’ve got him very cheap.
“They think they’ve got him in for less than half of what he would have gone for if he had another year on his contract.
“So it makes sense for everyone and all that’s left to hope is that it does indeed make sense you know out on the green stuff because he’s just such an obvious signing for Middlesbrough under Michael Carrick.”

How will Middlesbrough use Tommy Conway
While Middlesbrough signing Conway for such a low fee is great business, it does remain to be seen how Carrick will use him.
Latte Lath was the club’s top scorer in 2023/24 and is not going to be dropped to the bench just because Conway has signed.
However, the 22-year-old is a versatile striker who can play all across the forward line if required.
In turn, Middlesbrough may deploy a similar tactic to the one we saw in the 2022/23 season when they finished fourth.
The North East outfit played Cameron Archer as the number nine with Chuba Akpom occupying a slightly deeper role behind him.
Akpom, like Conway, is a natural striker, but hit 29 goals in the season he was played slightly further back.
