A second Middlesbrough player has left the club on transfer deadline day.
Boro were always expected to keep hold of the majority of their key players during the 2024 summer transfer window.
Ahead of deadline day, Zach Hemming, Sammy Silvera, Hayden Coulson, Jamies Jones, Paddy McNair and Liam Roberts departed.
The former two of those players left on loan while the rest have departed in permanent sales or as free transfers,
Now, on August 30th, Middlesbrough have let two players leave the Riverside Stadium.
Josh Coburn has joined Millwall on loan for the remainder of the Championship season after being pushed down the striker pecking order by the arrival of Tommy Conway.
The 21-year-old featured twice in the League Cup earlier this month but was expected to see very little game time in the league, hence a move to London.

Middlesbrough confirm Pharrell Willis exit
Now, on Friday evening, Boro have confirmed a second exit, with Pharrel Willis departing on loan.
The forward has signed a loan deal with Scottish League One side Queen of the South until January 2025.
Middlesbrough confirmed the move with a brief statement on MFC.co.uk.
They wrote: “After injury decimated his 2023/24 season, he will now look to use his loan stint north of the border to increase his exposure to first-team football.
“Willis has been on Boro’s books since the age of 16, when he was picked up after impressing at Independent FC.
“Deployed mostly out wide, he caught the eye with the Under-18s and later Under-21s.2Everyone at MFC wishes Pharrell well for his loan spell.”

Pharrell Willis can repeat Isaiah Jones success
Willis made his senior Middlesbrough debut in the 2022/23 season, featuring for seven minutes against Blackpool.
However, he has since struggled to break into the first-team and will need to play regularly elsewhere.
A move to Scotland could be just what the 21-year-old needs and he can now follow in the footsteps of Isaiah Jones.
After joining the Teessiders in 2020, Jones spent the second half of the 2020/21 campaign on loan with Queen of the South.
He provided six assists and scored once in 12 appearances for the Scottish side and has been a regular feature for Boro since his return – something Willis will want to now emulate.
