Middlesbrough could be closing in on the addition of a new backroom team member for Michael Carrick this week.
It has been a hectic summer at the Riverside Stadium so far with Michael Carrick reshaping his squad ahead of the 2024/25 Championship season.
Middlesbrough have made three first-team signings so far; Luke Ayling, Aidan Morris, and Delano Burgzorg.
The Teessiders then signed 16-year-old centre-back, Harley Hunt, who was wanted by two Premier League clubs.
The incomings are not expected to stop there, though. Boro News understands Middlesbrough are looking at the foreign market to strengthen the left-wing position.
Middlesbrough’s striker plans for the remainder of the 2024 summer transfer window also mean they could explore the loan market to bolster their attacking ranks.
It is not just players that have arrived at Boro this summer, however, with Graeme Carrick replacing Aaron Danks as a member of his brother’s coaching staff.
